# Directions:
01 - Preheat oven to 350°F and line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners or lightly grease each cup.
02 - In a large bowl, mix together the rolled oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt until evenly distributed.
03 - In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, maple syrup or honey, melted butter or coconut oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
04 - Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
05 - Fold in the diced pears carefully to avoid breaking them apart.
06 - Spoon the mixture evenly into the muffin cups. If desired, sprinkle chopped nuts and turbinado sugar on top.
07 - Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 28 minutes, until the cups are set and lightly golden on top.
08 - Allow the baked cups to cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
