Crispy popcorn coated in maple butter glaze, ideal for festive entertaining or cozy snacking with friends and family.

# Ingredient List:

→ Popcorn

01 - 1/2 cup popcorn kernels (yields approximately 8 cups popped corn)
02 - 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

→ Maple Butter Glaze

03 - 1/3 cup unsalted butter
04 - 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
05 - 1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
06 - 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
07 - 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
08 - 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

# Directions:

01 - Heat vegetable oil in a large pot over medium flame. Add popcorn kernels, cover, and shake intermittently until popping reduces to 2–3 seconds between pops. Remove from heat and transfer popped corn into a large mixing bowl, discarding any unpopped kernels.
02 - In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt unsalted butter. Incorporate maple syrup, brown sugar, sea salt, and cinnamon, if desired. Bring to a gentle boil and continue stirring for 3–4 minutes. Remove from heat and blend in vanilla extract.
03 - Pour the hot maple butter glaze over the popcorn. Using a spatula, toss thoroughly to achieve uniform coating.
04 - Preheat oven to 300°F. Arrange glazed popcorn evenly on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 8–10 minutes, stirring once at the halfway mark, until popcorn is crisp and lightly caramelized.
05 - Allow the popcorn to cool completely on the baking sheet. Separate any large clusters and transfer to a serving bowl.
