Mini pancakes and cake chunks, fruit, and chocolate drizzle unite for playful skewers, perfect for gatherings.
# Ingredient List:
→ Pancakes
01 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
02 - 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
03 - 1 teaspoon baking powder
04 - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
05 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
06 - 3/4 cup milk
07 - 1 large egg
08 - 2 tablespoons melted butter
09 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
→ Cake
10 - 8 small, 1-inch cubes pound cake or sponge cake
→ Fruit
11 - 8 large strawberries, hulled and halved
12 - 1 banana, sliced into 8 chunks
13 - 8 seedless grapes
→ Topping
14 - 1/3 cup chocolate chips, melted
15 - 2 tablespoons rainbow sprinkles, optional
# Directions:
01 - In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry mixture until just incorporated; avoid overmixing.
02 - Heat a nonstick skillet or griddle to medium and lightly coat with butter. Drop tablespoonfuls of batter onto the hot surface to create mini pancakes. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes per side until golden and set. Repeat until at least 16 mini pancakes are cooked and allow them to cool.
03 - On each skewer, arrange ingredients in a playful sequence, starting with a mini pancake, followed by a cake cube, a strawberry half, a banana chunk, and a grape. Repeat components as desired so each skewer contains 2 mini pancakes, 1 cake cube, 1 strawberry half, 1 banana chunk, and 1 grape.
04 - Place assembled skewers on a serving platter. Generously drizzle with melted chocolate and garnish with rainbow sprinkles if desired.
05 - Serve immediately, or refrigerate for up to 2 hours before serving.
