# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It comes together in 20 minutes but looks like you spent hours designing something magical.
  • Everyone at the table smiles before they even taste it because the presentation tells a whole story.
  • You can make it entirely ahead of time, then just arrange it when guests arrive.
02 -
  • Don't oversoak the rosemary sprigs in water or the sugar will clump and slide off—a light mist is all you need.
  • If your rosemary looks droopy or you can't find sturdy sprigs, you can prop them against a small piece of cheese or prop them at an angle rather than perfectly upright, and it still reads as intentional.
03 -
  • Assemble the board no more than an hour before serving so the sugared rosemary stays crisp and the cheese doesn't warm and soften too much.
  • If you're making this for a party where guests will be mingling, arrange it on a high table or counter so people naturally gather around it and the presentation stays intact longer.
