01 - Lightly grease the inside of a microwave-safe mug with a thin layer of vegetable oil.
02 - In a small bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
03 - Add the cherry cola and vegetable oil to the dry mixture and stir until a smooth batter forms.
04 - Pour the batter into the prepared mug, filling no more than halfway to allow room for rising.
05 - Microwave the mug on high for 70–90 seconds, or until the cake has set and springs back lightly when touched.
06 - Allow the mug cake to cool slightly. Pipe or spoon whipped cream on top and garnish with maraschino cherries.
